How To Prepare

Contact me to create your shared drive folder
Organize the folder into footage, audio, and other assets (logos, scripts, etc.)
Label files clearly (e.g., "Intro.mp4," "Interview_Scene1.mov")
Ensure all media you want included is uploaded to the drive.

2. Complete Creative Brief

Fill out the Creative Brief questionnaire to define project goals
Share example videos or reference links for inspiration
Define your target audience and intended viewer
Specify any key branding elements (colors, fonts, logos)

3. Final Details & Deadlines

Confirm the final video’s platform & aspect ratio
Provide your preferred deadline or request rush delivery if needed

Video Editing FAQs

General Video Editing Questions

I provide professional editing, including cutting, trimming, transitions, color correction, audio enhancement, motion graphics, and final formatting. Additional services like subtitles, animation, or special effects can be included upon request.

I primarily use Adobe Premiere Pro, depending on the project requirements. I also use After Effects for motion graphics and Audition for audio enhancement.

Not necessarily, but if you have a specific vision, style, or structure in mind, I encourage you to share a script, outline, or timestamps to guide the edit.

Turnaround Time & Revisions

Turnaround time depends on the complexity of the project:

  • Basic edits: 1-2 weeks
  • Advanced edits: 2-4 weeks
  • Complex projects: up to 2 months
  • Rush delivery is available upon request (additional fees may apply).

I include three rounds of revisions to ensure you’re happy with the final product. Additional revisions may incur an extra fee. That said, there are requirements for what is and is not an acceptable revisions request. Please contact me to learn more.

I’m happy to make small tweaks after final delivery for a minor fee. If major changes are needed, we can discuss a separate revision package.

File Submission & Formats

I accept most video formats, including MP4, MOV, AVI, and ProRes. For audio, I accept WAV and MP3. If you’re unsure, just ask, and I’ll guide you through it.

You can upload your files via Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or a similar file-sharing service. If needed, I can create a shared folder for you.

I typically deliver in 1080p (Full HD) or 4K UHD. Let me know if you need a specific resolution, aspect ratio, or frame rate.

Additional Services & Technical Questions

Yes! I can create manual or auto-generated captions and style them to match your branding.

I can improve audio clarity, remove background noise, and stabilize shaky footage, but extreme cases may have limitations.

Yes, but project files are available for an additional fee since they require proper file organization and software compatibility.

Pricing Payment Questions

Pricing depends on the complexity of the edit, video length, and additional services (e.g., motion graphics, sound design). I offer custom quotes based on your project’s needs. Contact me for a free estimate.

Because editing is a time-intensive service, I do not offer refunds once work has started. However, I ensure client satisfaction through revisions and communication throughout the process.
